More InformationAfter the success of the CIVIC SCOUTS AT WORK programme, THE CIVICS is expanding efforts to create space for workplace-based civic learning with the European Responsible Leadership Network programme (ReLEAD). In today’s fast-moving, uncertain world, thriving businesses and societies rely on people who care, are resilient, and take responsibility for their actions. This is where responsible leadership becomes essential. Learn more about responsible leadership in a short video below.

The ReLEAD online training programme takes civic learning in the workplace to the next level by engaging businesses across European countries to foster civic-minded, resilient, and socially responsible leadership. It enables employees to focus on essential skillsets that benefit both society and the workplace:
Everyone begins with the core module on Civic skills – building aware and engaged leaders.
After that, they choose one of three optional tracks to deepen their learning:
- Resilience and wellbeing – creating smarter, healthier, confident leaders.
- Communication in challenging times – helping people lead through complexity.
- Environmental sustainability and social impact – leading responsibly.
ReLEAD’s carefully curated programme combines self-study, transnational group workshops, and comes with a practical Toolbox, enabling participants to gain skills and share knowledge beyond their workplaces. See how the ReLEAD Toolbox can support your learning journey in the video below.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the overall programme requires a commitment of up to 15 hours within a 10-week period, can be completed during working hours, and is free of charge. Upon successful completion of the training, both participants and companies will be certified and receive an “Open Badge”, a validated, shareable digital badge that contains information about skills and achievements.
