Young Climate Professionals (YCP) 1.0

The inaugural cycle of our Young Climate Professionals (YCP) programme ran from July 2022 until April 2023. In line with the overall objectives of the YCP programme, this first edition created new learning spaces for young people from 10 European countries to strengthen both their green literacy competencies and personal development skills. We welcomed participants from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden, helping them build the knowledge, skills, and networks to support their engagement in sustainability and climate action.

After a year of collaborating virtually, the participants finally came together in person for the concluding event: the YCP Campus in Berlin. This final, in-person meeting focused on project incubation, peer learning, and strengthening connections, bringing together the 17 young professionals who successfully completed all four programme activities. The Campus offered inspiring moments of exchange, hands-on collaboration, and new networking opportunities that will continue to fuel their green initiatives.
