Germany is the first of four European countries to publish its call for applications for our pilot programme CIVIC SCOUTS AT WORK. On the one hand, employees will get the chance to strengthen their skills through a diverse set of modules addressing effective communication strategies, methods of de-escalation and self-reflection. On the other hand, participating enterprises will benefit by increasing awareness, sensitivity and motivation among their employees and fostering a positive work environment. Overall, the programme means to establish civic education within the workplace and to find synergies between vocational and civic education.

Our Call for Applications targets German enterprises with a staff size of up to 1000 employees, who can now apply to our free-of-charge capacity development programme.

For more information on the programme please refer to our German website at: https://thecivics.eu/civic-scouts-germany/. Here you can find the official call for applications including the eligibility criteria, the curriculum with the modules offered as well as the link to the application form.

In case of any further questions please get in touch via: civicscouts@thecivics.eu.

The programme is supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the German Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb).
