The final online session for this cycle of the Young Climate Professionals (YCP) programme took place this January on the topic of Biodiversity: Preserving & Restoring Ecosystems. This session highlighted the importance of building resilience to climate change impacts at the local level, inspiring community engagement, and exploring nature-based solutions in preserving and restoring ecosystems.

Our second activity of the Young Climate Professionals programme continued to focus on advancing the sustainability competencies of passionate young climate advocates. This time, we emphasised Food Systems: From Farm to Fork - and explored fair, healthy, and environmentally friendly food systems, highlighting the critical role of sustainable entrepreneurship in driving this transformation.
We have launched our YCP 2.0 programme, welcoming 30 young leaders from 15 European countries. Focused on Resilience & Adaptation, this session linked civic education with green literacy, explored resilience strategies, and delved into generating creative solutions aimed at equipping participants to translate European climate goals into local action.
